Our Helmsley shop was opened in 1991. The little Borogate shop in the heart of Helmsley was extended three years ago to incorporate the adjacent premises. We now have a beautiful “artisan” building with exposed beams and limestone floor.

This fabulous little market town with its timeless appeal has always been dear to us. We always thought if we were to have a shop we would love it in a town like this and we made it happen!! Our mum has now run the shop for us for several years and she is as popular to visit as the shop itself!

Helmsley is full of small independent retailers (many of whom, like us, also originally could be found at the county shows) and the very fabric and location of the town lends itself to individuality and quality. You just know that when you chance upon Helmsley you will find interesting shops and places to visit and we hope that we are one of those!

The town is as fabulous in winter as summer and memories always remain with you when you leave.
