This is a fantastic “cape” style jacket made from 100% Shetland wool.  The flowing shape of this eye-catching design makes you feel incredibly comfortable, yet very elegant and extremely warm and cosy.

The front fastens where you would like it to with a pin, and it has bell shaped sleeves and a very full “swingy” back.

The shape of the FIDRA jacket is so flattering that 99% of ladies suit it. Not so great however if you are under 5' 3” tall (too much fabric).


Fidra, with its ruined C12th chapel, dedicated St. Nicholas, is one of the tiny, isolated and uninhabited islands in the Firth of Forth. It is said to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's map of 'Treasure Island'.
